Spray Powders

Spray powder helps prevent set-off and blocking when printed surfaces come into contact before they are fully safe to stack or process.

Osaki DRY UP KP

DRY UP KP is a preventive spray powder for printing applications. Its fine particles spread evenly, helping protect printed surfaces from set-off and blocking.

Key characteristics include a smooth finished surface, economical use, resistance to moisture, limited clumping, compatibility with common printing inks, and minimal impact on the transparency of films and similar materials.

Osaki DRY UP S-A

DRY UP S-A is a vegetable-starch-based anti-set-off powder and slipping agent. It is hydrophobic and can be used with both pneumatic and electrostatic spray systems.

Only a small quantity remains on paper or film, helping preserve smoothness. The powder integrates well with inks while limiting deposits on machinery, reducing powder scattering, and making equipment easier to clean.

Typical physical references include a slightly yellowish white color, average particle size of approximately 25 microns, apparent density of approximately 0.6–0.7 g/cc, tapping density of approximately 0.8–0.90 g/cc, and water content of approximately 12–14 percent.
